The Price of Beauty

To some people, beauty is not a problem. But for others, beauty is a problem. Or at least they think that its a problem. What a lot of people need to understand is the statistics of the problem we are facing, and that's what it is too. Its a problem.

45% of 30-45 year old women have admitted to getting plastic surgery.

45% of women in that age range! Does that not alarm anyone? Am i the only one that sees that almost half of the women in that age range; are no longer who they were originally? This is insane to me.

From the year 1997 to the year 2004, there was a 465 percent increase in the total number of cosmetic procedures performed in the United States.

465%!!!! What is happening to the world? Within 7 years, our world turned fake. We turned into not only "Obese Country" but now they might as well call us "Plastic Beach."

I find the fact that this is happening very alarming, and we need to push the fact that everyone is beautiful in their own ways. And stop pushing the fact that money can make you prettier to the set standards that were determined by an unseen panel of hipster judges.

  1. i get really sad when i think about that because i used to think that i would want to get surgeries and stuff but i find it to be so stupid God made me the way i am for a reason and im gonna be as happy as i can be just the way i am. i used to think about all my flaws alot but now i just think of them as they make me who i am and if poeple didnt' have flaws well idk... i know i would be a different person if i looked exactly the way i wanted to. but im happy with who i am today ya know i just wished we didn't feel like we have to be perfect because no one is and the only reason why we laugh at other people is because were so insecure about ourselves. alright well ill end my book now.lol just a good subject so thanks for the post
