I meant to tell you, before i forget:

I remember when you were still alive

I remember when our parents took

you away from me.

I remember you said you'd always be around for me

and you wanted us to last forever

I told you i loved you

I remember we would take longs walks

When church got out

We loved each other

and that's all that mattered

We were supposed to die together

You said you were happy

You didn't tell me you were slowly dying

When i had to leave

you must have forgot about me

I never was able to get you out of my head

You made a choice, and i wasn't there to help you

The first time you said you loved me

you looked me in the eyes

you made me believe this would work

you should have told me you were hurting

One day you took your life

you died instantly with a bullet in the head
