On July 28,1945 , the tallest tower in the world was crashed by bomber. And the pilot was Capt. William F. Smith, who had led some of the most dangerous missions in WWII in Europe. The terror killed him and distroyed the Empire state building. That was sad. A lot of people were afraid of that happened.
