Favorit Post

My favorit post was
Mr.king.

living to the age of 100 years old

many people dream of heating to 100 years old but never get there. many people think that they have created a medicine that can get you to that age. others think that the medicine are not 100% reliable. all the scientist can agree on one thing is that the Gen is related towards how old you can live. in my opinion the way that you can get to this age is by being healthy and exorcising and not getting too stress out in your life. if you get stressed your entire body is effected in the bade way. the three key things are eating healthy, exorcising, and having the stress level low as you can.

The End.......

My favorite post was Mary's "I Meant To Tell You" poem, because it was so heart felt and it was deep. Mary is also one of my favorite blogger because she like told stories through her blogs. You could always tell how she was feeling through her writings and a lot of thought and I liked that. This year I will be attending Parkview High School again for my junior year. My plans for the fourth of July is to go to I love America like I do every year with my family.

I've had an amazing time this month at summer school, well atleast the 4 weeks i had in this class room filled with amazing people. I have talked to some of them, but i mainly got along with Ashley, Chance, and Tyler. I love to laugh, and when people make me laugh. It was pretty awesome. I think that everyone is a great blogger, so i can not choose who is best. They all have great blogs, and to see so many of them. we can let our ideas out, and no ones feelsings get hurt.

My Favorite post was the BODY MODIFICATION because that is some cool stuff to learn about, and i seriously never knew that was so possible to even do to your body.

For the rest of the summer i'll be spending it with my family, and friends, and HOPEFULLY my Boyfriend, but manily friends.

I'll be going to the I LOVE AMERICA FESTIVAL and chillin out with people. I'm going to sleep, and that's pretty much it. Have fun!

The rest of the summer i hope to find many more rodeos to compete in and the empire fair grounds... and get a job.lol
BYE BYE YAWL

And the sentence trails off...

This month has been incredible. There have been so many blogs to pick from, and so many bloggers to choose. But if i had to narrow it down to my favorite post, it would have to be Stephen's report on Vampyres. This i my favorite because it is full of facts, and is incredible. And being that i am dating someone form Romania, ho is possibly a vampyre, I found this to be quite enjoyable.

My favorite blogger. Definately Solomon. His blogs were always so raw and the pictures he used brought so much flame to the message of each post. I wish i had more time to get to know everyone here, but don't get me wrong i'm happy that its done. I just wish we had more time.

My plans for the future, well hopefully college in the fall. I'll be going to OTC and i'll be going for Culinary. I have just a year left and i'll have my bachelors degree in it. so i'm pretty stoked about that.

For the 4th of july i'll be spending it with my girlfriend and my family for the first part then i'll be with my girlfriend's family for the last half to go to the always conservative I Love America patriotic love fest. lol.

But i will leave you guys with some words of wisdom

"Must it take a life for hateful eyes
To glisten once again
Cause we find ourselves in the same old mess
Singin' drunken lullabies"
~Flogging Molly

Uh-Oh Summer's Getting STARTED!!!!

My favorite post was about the body modification and how people had different view points. Is this wrong? Is this an expression of one self? My favorite blogger would have to be Brooke James and Mary Wigton (this is not because they are my friends) because they have the most down to earth blog posts. I could connect with them and they are amazing free verse poets, whether they realize that. The school I am attending the 2010-2011 school year is Parkview High School . I'm hoping to apply at a restaurant, like maybe a chinese restaurant (Hong Kong Inn) or a store in the mall. For the 4th of July, I am going to be with family and shoot fireworks. I might go to I Love America! with Brooke. It should be a good weekend!
Have a good summer everyone :)

Radio Diaries: Shirley Chisholm

Shirley Chisholm was the first black woman to serve on congress and she also became the first black woman to run for president in 1972. She was very out there she spoke the truth and she did not care what other people thought. Shirley was well known to have had a lisp but also an accent but that wasnt the only unique thing bout her. I think she knew before she ran that she would'nt have a chance to win but she didn't care her main thing is that she wanted her voice to be heard, she wanted people to her what she had to say. Shirley Chisholm was not one to give up she was willing to fight for what she believed in she was no naive women. She knew what she was talking about and she strongly believed in it all. From what I listened to I could see that Shirley Chisholm was a force to be wreckened with.

Radio diaries on pigme man

I dont get how someone could condone in their own minds that tht was okay for them to treat a man who knowns no better than to do what hes used to doin. It just blows my mind that they wouldn't try to help him instead of using them for their own profits and worldly uses.
He was very fortunite to of had the church help him get out of the situation that he was in.

Margaret Chase Smith

Margaret Chase Smith, called the "lady of Maine," was a tough hawk who took a keen interest in military affairs and free speech. Her political career began when she worked as a secretary to her husband, Republican Rep. Clyde Smith. After his death in 1940, she won a special election to succeed him. In 1948, Smith won a U.S. Senate seat representing Maine. Then, in 1964, she became the first woman to have her name placed in nomination for the presidency by a major political party. She faced Barry Goldwater in the primary — and lost. But with 27 votes, Smith denied Goldwater the unanimous vote for nomination. Radio Diaries talked with Janann Sherman, who wrote No Place for a Woman: A Life of Senator Margaret Chase Smith, and Merton Henry, who worked on her 1964 presidential campaign. Says Sherman of Smith's bid for the White House: "She was always having to walk that tightrope between being strong enough and tough enough to be commander in chief, to run a country, but still feminine enough and ladylike enough ... because being feminine was absolutely essential. And so she tried to balance it the best way she knew how."

Radio diaries

I think that thid radio diearie thing is really cool!
It shows a lot that i never knew, and can learn things from it.
I haven't really read things like this before, and it's amazing to learn things from it, and you could probably always use it in the future.

A thoughtful, mean, straightforward...but mostly thoughtful letter to my class

Dear Class,

I really enjoyed having you guys this summer. Although I can’t say I brought much out of this class. I mean seriously it’s a four week long course. I can say I’ll bring out some good and yet odd memories. The types of assignments weren’t really my style, which was probably obvious due to the fact that I was mostly reading a book. That was my favorite activity, reading. Didn’t really like the reading we did much either. The magazines had some pretty cool articles I guess. But the memoirs about normal everyday life aren’t really much of my bag. And as for the writing, I always like writing. No matter the style of it, writing is something I love.
-
I’m a hands on learner. I hate sitting in a desk all day hearing the teacher lecture us on some boring crap that none of us will really ever use in everyday life. “Really? Did Shakespeare do that? That’s interesting! Now that I’ve heard it for the fifth time how the heck can I apply it to the things I do everyday?” I’m that guy, but with less polite language. I can’t really tell you how ideas reach the synapse of my brain. I just stare at a blank piece of paper like a challenged kid until something comes to me.
-
More than anything I’m a loner. I hate being in big groups, even small ones. You’re probably wondering why? I’m going to be arrogant and tell you the reason is because half the time I get matched up with complete idiots that do nothing but slow me down. See if you wanna get me to work, don’t put me in a group. You’ll find it’s counterproductive. I’d much rather do it all by myself and know that the end result will get me a grade better then a D. I don’t mix very well. If they had a category for me to be voted into it’d probably be the one ‘Voted most likely to come to school with a bomb strapped on his chest, laughing manically’
-
Anyways, on another note. I did not post daily on the blog. I guess I’m a bit lazy. Or I didn’t have much to say. I did however do some commenting. I really liked some of the topics you guys did. There was some pretty deep and conversational post that I loved. And I did learn about you guys through your post. I learned that some of you were lazy, some of you were intelligent, some just wanted attention, and then some were just like everyone else. Either way, all in all there is a great variety of people in this class.
-
Of course, maturing as a thinker is always a big accomplishment. One that I can honestly say can’t be done over a short period of four weeks. I’ll gladly say that over the whole entire year, I have. And seeing that I’ll be gone for good from high school after today, I don’t find whether or not I matured as a student to be relevant.
-
Reading and writing is something I’ll always do. Not much to say there. Kind of a vague paragraph. But you’ll get over it.
-
The blog? Well, I feel you deserve an honest answer. No, I wouldn’t. Why would I? It served its purpose so it’s time to move on. I’m not much of a blogger anyways. I don’t see much of a point. Sure it’s a way to get your voice out there. But when you post your thoughts its out there for everyone to see. Like it or not.
-
Seeing I probably won’t be going to college next year Ill just be finding a job and keeping it. Hanging out with my girlfriend and stayin fit and busy. I don’t know bout the reading and writing thing. Of course I’ll be doing both. But what will I be reading or writing in a year? Geesh, get off. I hardly know whether or not I have clean underwear in the morning.
-
My goals in ten years? Those are personal to me, my friends. I believe I do hold the liberty to refuse you the privilege to know them. Nothing personal, believe me. But I’m probably saving you from the most boring rant of your life anyways. On top of that, I don’t believe in goals. Goals are things you want to do. I don’t have goals. Only things I will do.
-
I started out school in pre-k. First day of school I was out of my mind with excitement. That was kicked out of me quickly of course. Then I started to loathe school. Nothing could hold my attention. I always felt like I was above it. I’m not saying I’m better then everyone else. But as the years went on everything seemed dumbed down and repetitive. I had developed the mindset of ‘none of this crap is going to help my life one day’ by the seventh grade. So, I acted accordingly. I got lazy, would only work on the things that I felt were a benefit of me. As a result, I had some low grades, and my teachers never shut up with complaints. But I was happy. I still am happy with the effort I put into my education. Because in the end, as long as I walk with my diploma, I can say I finished half of my journey. A lot more then most can say.
-
All in all, I had a great time with you guys. Met some interesting people, some immature ones, some I’d like under different circumstances, and of course some normal people that are awesome. Anyways, I think I’m finally done with this. Hope to see you guys again some time. And for any that wanna keep in touch (417-631-6965) hope to hear from a few at least. Take it easy

The Day A Bomber Hit The Empire State Building

On July 28,1945 , the tallest tower in the world was crashed by bomber. And the pilot was Capt. William F. Smith, who had led some of the most dangerous missions in WWII in Europe. The terror killed him and distroyed the Empire state building. That was sad. A lot of people were afraid of that happened.

Gogol Bordello

Gogol comes from the name Nikolai Gogol. As one of the most influential writers in Russian and Ukrainian literature, Gogol paved the way for the likes of Kafka and Dostoevsky. He also serves as an ideological influence for the band because he "smuggled" Ukrainian culture into Russian society, which Gogol Bordello intends to do with Gypsy/ East-European music in the English-speaking world.

Now that the brief history is out of the way. we can get on to the link to watch them play their crazy Gypsy punk on tables in the NPR press room.

This band is one of the most influential bands i have ever heard of. And their take on the music scene is incredible. Here is an interview with the lead singer Eugene Hutz

final letter

i read, learn and write the best the best in groups and with others that i get along with i perfer to read in a group with others because i like talking to others yes i participate in the webblog i like reading what others think and what i have to say and what others think about what i say yes i love to read and comment on what others say its intresting to see what other people have to say yeah i got to where i felt comfortable talking to others because i knew what they thought and i also got to like someone based on what we talked about i felt that in a way i have matured and in a way i think i have kinda stayed the same no i wil not read or write this summer i will be racing and working my butt off this summer yeah just to see what everyone is up to goals next year are to get better grades and not just get by i want to actually pass with a's and b's my goals in ten year would have to be get married and start a family and have a good paying job to hopfully support my family and hopfully still be racing i will take the steps to get there by finding someone to be with and that i always want to be with and keep racing and don't give up on

My Self-Assessment

  • Some times I read write and learn best with groups, because it helps me to hear other peoples answers/opinions and then compare. I like to see other peoples views.
  • Really I perfer to read alone to reading in a group, mainly because I feel like I get more out of it because I am able to read at my pace and that helps me to better understand what I am reading.
  • To tell the truth no I did not blog everyday as I should've but I did blog just not daily.
  • Yes I did comment on other peoples blogs not all of them but a good amount.
  • Yes I did get to know people better by reading the blog. The blog gave people a chance to express themselves.
  • I am now able to think broader if that makes any sense
  • Yes I will continue to read over the summer during my freetime and I might also write too.
  • If the blog were still available for me to write on I most likely would'nt write not because I did not like it is just that blogging is not my thing.
  • My goals for next year are to broaden my horizen of what I read and to put a little more thought into my writing.
  • My goals for 10 years is to have graduated from lawschool and be at the verge of being a a very successful lawyer.

Dear Class

Dear Class,

I'm really enjoy summer school classes. I appreciate to my teachers and my friends. I don't like to talk too much to people but I like to make friends. In this study skills class the most memorable class project is the final project because this is my first research. I never done it before. I read a lot of article and books in this summer. My writing is better too. I read slowy and carefully to be understand, so i can understand the passages. I prefered to read alone because i don't want any noise when i'm study. I participated in our classroom weblog by posting daily and i commented on other posts too. I know Van and Lian are better at English. I matured as a thinker, I think. I hope to continue to read and write this summer. And i hope to continue to write on the blog if it were still available to me. My goals for next year is to be able to read all kind of books and able to built a story. My goals in ten years is to get a High Salary job, thats why i'm learning English as much as i can.
I was a new student in the CHS the last year. Everything is new and I had to make new friends but as you know, I'm quiet person and don't like to talk too much so I was boring to come to school. I didn't afraid of school but school was boring for me. After a few weeks later, I was happy in school because I got two or three friends. :P I'm a lazy student because i know i have to study but i'm lazy to study. I expact not to lazy in coming school year, Hopefully.

Dear class

My mrs james letter

Mary Wigton
July 2, 2010
Study skills
Dear Mrs. James,

I really enjoyed the things we did in this class in the last four weeks; my favorite thing was probably the weblog. Because I don’t think I would have learned as much about the other peers in my class, if we did not blog. I know that I shared things on there that I wouldn’t have in person and didn’t feel vulnerable. I enjoyed reading others blogs and commenting and seeing all the different opinions. I also enjoyed very much the making short poems out of the words, very fun and sometimes challenging not to try and make it all rhyme
I read, and write best when I’m by myself without any distractions with some soft music playing. I don’t have to worry about people judging me for what or how I’m learning. I also don’t get much out of reading out loud in a group because I’m thinking about not messing up and not thinking about the text I’m reading so I get done and have no clue what I just read.
I believe I have matured as a student in the fact that I know what I need to do and what I want to go to college for now (law degree to be a lawyer) and am very absorbed in it and I know I will be successful in life.
I will definitely get on the weblog now and again and blog and see if anyone else is, it should be fun to see if anyone else does.
My goals for the next year is to be in duel enrollment in high school and college and get my schooling out of the way so I can start a life for myself. I will never stop writing its one of the best ways I express my feelings and get anger out in a controlled manner, like sometimes I say things I don’t mean and all I can do is apologized but I know those words I can never take back and I just wished I could have written them down before throwing them out in resentment.
My goals for my life in 10 years are to be out of school and working in a law firm with my own home and an effective life, and helping others in need.
My past history in school; I was home schooled by my mother up until 8th grade, when I got put in foster care and went to my first high school in Norwood. It was a good environment for me to get in the routine of going to a school and I learned to love public school. At first I was terrified to go but after a week or so it was the best thing.
I know I’m smart I just need to learn to apply myself to things I know I’m good at because we only have one life to live and it will go faster than we think and I don’t want to get old knowing I didn’t achieve what I really wanted in life.
My expectations for my classes is for them to teach me what I need to know for learning and preparing for my future, and for me to take what I get and not take it for granite.
Thank you for putting your time in for this class I really enjoyed it.
Sincerely,
Mary Zipporah Wigton

Dear Class,

Dear Class,

The few weeks we have been in this class I have made a lot of new friends and I have learned some thing s about people that I never knew before. There is a variety of people in this class full of bursting personalities. I have found that there are some who are quiet and seem to keep to themselves but once you get to know them your realize how nice they are. And then there are the ones that are very loud and out there but are very funny and cool. The most memorable activity I think is when we did those "I Remember" and "Where Am I From" poems. I enjoyed those very much and I learned a lot about some people through their writings. Also I think that some of the articles that we read were very interesting and they opened my eyes to the problems that are going on around us in different countries. One of the other things I enjoyed a lot is when we got free time to read because I love to read. So anyways in saying all that Thankyou class for making this class fun and ejoyable. I know as a class we have had our ups and downs but you know every class has that. Its life, it happens. I hope after today that you guys will go off and enjoy the rest of your summer. I know I most defenitely will. ! :)

Final Letter

Dear Ms James,
The most memorable was when we had our groups, and then we worked together. I think it was really fun. I like to kind of ready by myself, but in a way with a group of people, so I can understand it better. I write better by myself, except writing the answers because I usually don’t understand what the questions are talking about. I prefer reading as a group. I did participate in the daily blog. I commented a lot of other people’s blog especially the ones that are from another country, because they did AMAZING!
I did get to know people more in person, and when I was reading their stuff on the blog. I have matured over the summer during summer school, because no ones is going to play around and act stupid all the time. So, yes I have matured. I probably won’t read, or write over the summer, because to be honest I don’t think there is a point till school actually begins. My goal for next years for reading and writing, are to continue and try to get better at it, and don’t give up. If you give up, then you are not going to succeed. You can get good at it if you just try. Some of my goals in the next ten years are to be married, have a family, and to be in college or even out of college. I’ll teach my kids how to read and write when they are old enough so they can be better than me, and be able to do a lot more things than I could. My steps are to finish High-School before things get crazy, and then live my life from there. I want too accomplish my dreams on becoming a special education teacher, and then where ever my life takes me, they that’s where I should be.
My history of school of elementary school, and middle school would be: Elementary School I was a little angel, Middle school I was good until seventh grade, I was so bad. I’ve changed through because I want to be better and not make those kinds of mistakes that I did. I’m really excited about high school because I can try and do well in school, and make new friends, and enjoy life as a Student here at Central High school. The only thing I would be afraid is that people are going to judge me, because of that I’m not so sure. I really don’t care what they think of me, but that’s just me. I want to try and achieve all good grades, so I can have a bright future. The thing that I’ll probably remember is the time that I first walked into class and i really didn’t know anyone, and then me meeting Chance, Tyler, Ashley, Daniel. I did not know that summer school could be so much fun!

Dear Class,

Dear Class,

Where to begin? You guys might not know this, but I consider myself a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one-man wolf pack. But when i came into this class, I knew some of you were ones of my own. And my wolf pack... it grew by 3 . So there... there were 4 of us in the wolf pack... I was alone first in the pack, and then some joined in later. And 3 and a half weeks ago, when Ms. James introduced me to you guys, I thought, "Wait a second, could it be?" And now I know for sure, I just added the rest of you guys to my wolf pack. Twenty five of us wolves, running around the school together, in Central, looking for books and higher learning. So tonight, I make a toast!

cristian's letter

dear james

when I started early in the school year I was exited to see my friends. I matured as a student over years by finding new ways of studying and what I am capable of. I am usually a quiet student because majority of the time I don't know what to say or I don't know what is going on. the expectation from the school it is to improve the student's level of thinking and knowledge in all the areas.

I learn best by doing it by myself because I can concentrate mare and I don't get distracted easily. I prefer to read ether way because both of the ways don't give me any problems. I didn't post daily, but i did participate by commenting other people blogs. I did know other people better by reading their blogs. I matured as a student by how other people think and how different they can be from each other. I will continue writing this summer. I would still write on the blog if it is still available to me. my goals for the next year it is to become a better writer and improve on my reading. i don't really have any big plans for the next ten years.

Dear Class: Paytre

Dear Class,

The really thing I've grown in as a student was my writing. The poems we've written really helped me grow in writing. The best class activity was the poems we wrote and we had to choose four words. I really liked all the original poems we all had. These are questions I had to answer and I will respond according to the order of the bullets on the prompt.

  • I read, write, and learn the best by doing hands-on work. I am a tangible (touch) learner.
  • I prefer to read by myself. I can concentrate better by myself than in a group.
  • I participate in posting web blogs everyday or every other day.
  • I do comment on other posts. Usually one day I'll post a blog, another day, I'll post a comment.
  • I kind of learned about other students on the web blog. I could tell what they've been through or their interests.
  • I really haven't matured as a student or a thinker. I mean, on certain things we've done I've had different views on things. The activity we did about Kanye West and others being "uncivilized", I used to think about that being "uncivilized". Then I began to think: What is being uncivilized? My view changed. What Kanye West did was not "uncivilized" it was rude. Uncivilized is not having any home training and acting like a savage, and that Kanye West was not.
  • I'll continue to read and write later during the summer because I like doing those things, so yes I will.
  • No, I will not continue to write on this blog.
  • My goals for next year is to become to a better writer and reader and to get an A-B average in all my classes.
  • My goals in ten years is to raise a successful family and have a successful job. In order to get there I have to do good in school.

I really didn't take anything out of this class. I really couldn't find the significance in it. I really didn't understand how blogging would help me in the future. The reading somewhat helped and the writing helped. I really hope that I will try and get somethi

Sincerely,

Paytre McCrimmons

class

I read, write, and learn best by being hands on and not by lecture or people reading to because its hard for me to follow along. I prefer to read alone because I can't follow along. Yes i did follow and blog in this class not my other one. Yes, I blogged on other peoples blogs. Yes, i did get to know them better by blog than I did in person in this class.I don't think I have matured this year but I did last year and I think I am loosing that maturity. Yes, I will continue to read and write this summer. Yes, I would continue to blog on here if i had the chance. My goals for next year is to graduate and to start college. I don't know what my goals will be in ten years. I started out my early years by being excited because I had the best kindergarten teacher ever. I have matured by becoming responsible for not doing my work. My habits are that I didn't do my homework for any one unless I liked them or I just end up getting excited and not doing it because I get so happy and get caught up doing other stuff. I also get silly when it comes to the end of school. My new expectations is to do good in school and to not fool around with friends to where I don't do my work. I will remember everyone in here and how I have become friends with them.

When Is the Right Time to Start Dating? Mary's Research

When is the right time to start dating?

I am studying when people think it’s the right time to start dating and how dating young will affect us later. I have asked this question to myself for along time and I just don’t get why I keep dating but I don’t think it’s really a good idea for me to be in a serious relationship at fifteen years old. I believe that at this age we are still growing and changing all the time. And we all need time to grow and live life before we get caught up in a relationship that we are not fully mature enough to handle, than when that relationship does not work out you or the other person are so heartbroken and sometimes don’t know what to do with themselves.
I want to share a poem that young teenage girl wrote to her ex boyfriend and I think it really shows just how much young people put too much out of themselves and it does affect your future.

“My tears are flowing for you
As my mind wonders and heart beats
My body is nothing without you

And as the wetness of my cheek are beginning to dry
And my thoughts weaken and try to forget
I feel like nothing without you

The beats within my chest were real,
Something that no one will ever steal
When there is nothing without you

But as I try to forget you more and more
My body grows weaker and begins to wear
My mind floats, rises to react

I know I’m nothing without you…”
By Carissa Marks

If another person is the only thing we have in life and the only thing we look forward to doing everyday than we most definitely will be hurt and severely troubled when that person either leaves or even dies.

Also I see a lot of people when they have a bad breakup of lose a person they either binge eat or starve them selves. That‘s probably about the worse thing you could do at that point in your life, no matter what your age of maturity level is. Get lots of sleep, eat healthy foods, and exercise everyday.

Young people we have our whole lives in head of us don’t settle for the right now man settle for the best man and maybe you feel that he/she is, but don’t rush into things.
How old do you think a couple should be before they get married?
Asked at Munchers Bakery, August 2009

“I think it should be more of a mindset as opposed to a number. You should always feel ready, not rushed. ”
— Jayne Fisher, accounting major, Kansas City, Kan.

“I think you should finish your schooling first. But if you didn’t go to school, at least 21.”
— Deirdre Fisher, wing administrator, Boston

“Twenty-one. I think that’s a pretty responsible age.”
— John Ragan, boiler operator, Lawrence

“I believe 21. It gives a person time to get through some education.”
— Alvin Kroge, retired

“As of 2003, 43.7% of custodial mothers and 56.2% of custodial fathers were either separated or divorced. And in 2002, 7.8 million Americans paid about $40 billion in child and/or spousal support (84% of the payers were male).”

I honestly believe if people weren’t jumping into relationships so young and immaturely these statistics would go down drastically.
I can’t say I’ve really learned anything more from this but its definitely reinforced the beliefs I already have, and noticed that I’m not the only one out there that thinks this way.

Thingkeppar

I like the pictures of the roses. They are pretty. My favortite colors are white and red. In Burma we used flowers in our house. We would get flowers in the store. In Burma we would plant flowers in the yard. We had Thingkeppar. This is a flower in Burma. This kind of flower was in the woods. It was my favorite flower. This flower was like a rose in many colors.

questions people have about racing

MONEY: it really depends on the type of the car you could spend anywhere from 2,000 to about 15,000 (not counting if you have to rebuild something)
the best class to start at would be a pure stock because you basically take a car from the street put a cage in it and racing seat and bust out the windows and go racing
like i said you can go from making a car off the street one just put a cage in it and bust out the windows and go racing and a modified and late model and others you would have to buy the car and every thing to go with it and that can get expensive
and mary i wont be at the front at first because even though your going like 45-50 you feel like your in a rocket ship or jet

single engine fighter/aircraft.

Fighters, with their power, armament, speed, and agility, are deadly foes. As you can see, my research topic is single engine fighter/aircraft. I was first interested in fighter/aircraft about four years ago, when I first saw a episode of dogfights, a history channel TV seres. I was interested because my dad liked it, all aircraft are unique, and its educational.I got some of my information at www.chuckhawks.com/best_fighter_planes.htm and www.hightech-edge.com/worlds-top-ten-fighter-planes-discovery-channel/2423/.

To start from WW1, military aircraft started as two-seat scouts, ones the pilot, the other is the gunner with a rifle. Then they had the bright idea to use a machine gun instead of a rifle. And after the first year, they introduced the Interrupter Gear, gear used to interrupt the machine gun's rate of fire so that it wont hit the propeller when it was in front of the gun. Then they could put the machine gun in the nose, making it easier and more accurate to kill the foe.
The interrupter gear was used in WW2 also.

An example of a WW 1 aircraft is the DR 1 Fokker Triplane. This is a good example of German innovation. The three wings give it exceptional lift but makes it slower then bi-planes and more maneuverable. The famous German ace Manfred , Von Richthofen, aka, "The Red Baron" made the last 80 if his kills in a DR 1.

Before WW2 even started, bi-planes were obsolete by the 1930's. monoplanes were now just about every where. Four planes from WW2 are the Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero, the ME/BF 109, the North American P-51D Mustang, and the Supermarine Spitfire MK 1-24. All the planes had machine guns, but at a heavier and bigger sizes. The Spitfire and the Mustang where allied, while the 109 and the Zero were with the Axis. The Mustang fought both the ME 109 and the Zero, while the Spitfire only fought the ME 109. It was during WW2 that jets first appeared. The first operational jet fighter was the ME 262, but it appeared too late to change the outcome of the war.
But in the Korean war,the jet fighters would face-off for the first time. The allies had the F-86 Sabre, while the Communists had the MiG-15. Both had swept wings that reduced drag, and increased the speed limit of the fighters. But, they still used guns to kill the enemy, up close.

It was during the Vietnam that missiles were available, but the A9D Sidewinder and the Am's 7 Sparrow missiles sucked. So did the Communist's missiles. Half the time the missiles missed the target if they got off the rail. Now, we don't have to worry about the mechanical failure of modern aircraft and weapons. But, guns are used still today.

Quarterly Self-Assessment

Some of the changes, or things i've done was i changed my topic from "Special Education Children" to "Abortion, Saveing an unborn Life."

I put what i thought about abortion, and i honestly don't care what others think, because it's how i feel and no ones place to say something bad, Even though no one has)
I got my ideas from the library thing, when i was looking at the list of stuff that was already given, and i just seen abortion, and said i should write about that.
If i could rivise anything, i would probably add more details.

Here are th links:
http://www.abortionfacts.com/help/national_help_lines.asp

My biggest challenge was to pick a topic, because there are a lot to choose from.
My reading has chancged by looking, and actually reading things, instead of just looking at it and says im done.My writting has changed, by just trying to improve.
Some of the goals for the future is to get better at things so i can know how to do stuff, and not haveing to ask other people how to do things.

love

I feel unloved by so many people. Have you ever felt that way? Well, i feel like i am the only one in a room all by myself and no one likes or cares about me they sit there and talk bad things about me. I don't think my family loves me either because if they did then my family members would have take me instead of leaving me in the place i hate.

Can you see the difference?

Can you see the difference between a jet and a radial/inline engine now?
