I really have thought about this question alot well since me and my first boyfriend ever broke up. But i keep dating. Everytime i brake up wit someone i ask myself the same question and i really can't figure it out. Somethimes i think girls try to tell themselves they need someone to make them happy but we really don't. So why DO we date so young? Is it the fact that they think they will stay with the person they are with? Or they think they will lose the person if they do not date them? IDK but im really tired of givin pieces of my heart to differen't people and thinking about so how will i feel when i get married? That ive givin most of my heart away already? well please give me some feed back cause i really would like to know how other people feel about this subject:):)

I think we date so young is because we are scared of being those people we see on tv that die alone. We as teens are so terrified of being alone, and also it could be the fact that everyone around us is dating and we don't want to be that kid that is single in a sea of couples.
ReplyDeleteAlso about you giving a bit of your heart to every relationship, that is something you should really work on. Becuase like you said you star to run out of heart to give out. Relationships are something not to be taken lightly, and are for people that are truely ready for that kind of comittment. And us being so young, we may think that we are ready but we really aren't.
This is just my opinion though.
A lot of people date so young because they are usually lonely or they want the love or affection that they never had.Ya it does hurt everytime you give some piece of your heart away and it always will until you find that perfect person. i will honestly say that i have been hurt a lot from people or even boyfriends have hurt me but i think that this isn't the end of the world and that i will live and be stronger than ever after everytime i get hurt.

ReplyDeleteI think people date so young because people are afrade of being alone and dont want anyone to think because they are alone they are weird or not a good person. I also think we date because then people can see what you are like and then others can get to know you better and see that you are a great person to be with
