They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What does that mean? Who sets the standard?

I have many opinions on this subject. I personally think that natural is beauty. Dont like it when people feel the need for all kinds of foundation, lipstick, eyeshadow n such. Hate what the media does to distort something so fundamental and crucial to ones identity of self. its warped and outright sickening what they create for the "standard" now days. Nothing i hate worse then being with someone i love and hearing them say "i'm fat" "im ugly" "wish my legs were like hers". Everyone has a quality that makes them beautiful. Our world has become far too judgemental and materialistic.
ReplyDeleteYou are very wise. I wish we all the world through your eyes!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Stephen. We don't need all of the make up and photoshop to be beautiful. We are all gorgeous on the insides, and thats all that matters. We as people need to stop caring what others think about us, and begin caring about what we feel. There are so many people out there that spend their time scared to come out because of how judgemental people are now a days. We are stuck in a world of who is hot and who is not, but we don't open our eyes enough to see that the bet people are the ones that don't fit the "standard" that has been set by the media.
ReplyDeletein my opinion beauty dose't come from unnessesery items such as make up, lipsick, or even a smouth face. beauty comes from your natural look.
